What We Do

HyClone and Alfa Laval Biokinetics created a joint venture, HyNetics™, LLC, specifically to expand the role and extend the benefits of disposables in bioprocessing. HyNetics™ exists to enable you, the customer, to capitalize on the advantages of single-use technology wherever possible in the bioprocess flow. This might mean helping you to simplify processes, reduce capital, labor, and other costs, increase productivity and flexibility, eliminate CIP and related validations, and so on to make your company more effective and responsive. Our first products, mixing systems whose product contact surfaces are entirely single-use, can mix solutions such as media and buffers, and can also maintain mixtures in homogeneous suspension such as for adjuvanted vaccines, cells, and depth filtration media, all using disposable surfaces. Following these mixing systems, HyNetics™ will introduce successive single-use systems aimed at improving biopharma process efficacy.
